Assaults against Border Patrol agents have more than doubled over the past two years, many by Mexico-based alien and drug gangs more inclined than ever to use violence as a means of ensuring success in the smuggling of people and contraband.
Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff acknowledges that although the department has begun to make progress against “the criminals and thugs” operating along the U.S.-Mexico border, “we are beginning to see more violence in some border communities and against our Border Patrol agents as these traffickers … seek to protect their turf.
“We must provide the manpower and resources they need to carry out their duties, and we are working hard to make sure they get them,” Mr. Chertoff said during a speech in Houston this month.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the investigative arm of Homeland Security, stated in a report earlier this year that border gangs were becoming increasingly ruthless — targeting rivals, along with federal, state and local police. ICE described violence on the border as rising dramatically over the past three years in what it called “an unprecedented surge.”
But many agents think they are viewed as “expendable” by the managers within Homeland Security and the Border Patrol. They say that while the number of agents overall has increased dramatically over the past year, the actual number of line agents has not seen a corresponding jump.

Still the plan has merit and Americans should think more about standing up for themselves and ask to be treated kindly for all we do for others in the world.

Seems to make some sense upon reflection…

‘I see a lot of people yelling for peace but I have not heard of a plan for peace. So, here’s one plan.’

1) ‘The US will apologize to the world for our ‘interference’ in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those ‘good ‘ole’ boys’, we will never ‘interfere’ again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world; starting with Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines they don’t want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave we’ll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They’re illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don’t like it there, change it yourself and don’t hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don’t need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign ’students’ over age 21. T he older ones are the bombers. If they don’t attend classes, they get a ‘D’ and it’s back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non-polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. I f they don’t like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8.) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not ‘interfere.’ They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don’t need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us ‘Ugly Americans’ any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH…Learn it…or LEAVE…Now, isn’t that a winner of a plan?

What Americans and truth seekers call Not answering the Question! it is Yes or NO …not yesno, maybe, sort of or I agree but disagree, It is a good Idea but I would not do it but I could as it is understandable because it might succeed as the current plan has failed so why not.

YES or NO and by all means the Correct answer that REAL Americans want to hear (in case you forgot who has the right to vote in America) is NO, it is wrong to give legal identification to people that should be deported if located.

What is really sad is there is no other viable candidate on the Democratic side(in the race) that can take advantage of the exposure of Hillary’s non answer to her unknown but suspected position on any issue.

Now, that said, how is Hillary responding to the immigration ripples that she started on debate night when she flip-flopped around whether or not to give illegal aliens legal drivers licences? Not well.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) top advisers, doing damage control after the candidate’s debate performance Tuesday, told supporters on a conference call Wednesday that the campaign needed more money to fight back.

More money? The Clinton campaign has raised more money than any previous campaign in history. They don’t need more money. They need a coherent position, and a candidate who believes in it and can convince the voters that she believes in it.

Over at Wizbang they ask 6 questions of Congress and the common citizen.

The last one is very important to the majority of Americans as it affects us all in one way or another. Will our children be stuck paying for us? How long will Social Security really last or will it amount to more that $500 by the time time lower the benefits?  Why cannot ALL the money we pay into Soical Security Stay in the trust Fund. Why cannot Congress STOP spending OUR Social Security as Tax revenue?

They have no right to that money yet they steal it year after year. Privite accounts is the ONLY way to stop Congress from spending our earned retirement savings plan we where forced to pay into. If a union or company stole the retirement funds promised to it’s members they would be in Federal jail. So should every congressman who voted to steal our Social Security funds be in jail…..I think so…! At the least the leadership should.
