A controversy is stirring at the University of Washington over constructing a memorial for a alumnus Gregory “Pappy” Boyington of “Black Sheep Squadron” fame.

Student senator Jill Edwards, according to minutes of the student government’s meeting last week, said she “didn’t believe a member of the Marine Corps was an example of the sort of person UW wanted to produce.”

It is a very sad day when American students are ashamed of the men and women military heroes that fought to preserve and protect their freedoms. Someone needs to teach this misguided child that war is not pretty or pleasant and nice. People die! We honor those that given their all. We honor those that scarificed a normal life and have to live with the horrors of war most of us will never understand or carry with us everyday for the rest of our lives. These students dishonor every man and woman that have given their life for this country. I am disgusted by their existence and would like to congratulate their parents they must be so proud of their child!
As this story is coming to light many are speaking out mostly against these ignorant, political correct, agenda driven students that are raised and taught to hate their country.

What is wrong with America is we have forgotten to teach our young to love their country as we were once taught this. The Vietnam era still permeates this bad seed in our culture and we need to work to change this now. The media and schools that slander the nobility of Military service and this country should be boycotted and shunned. They should be made aware of the power of the people they offend. Do not buy these papers, watch their shows on TV or Radio and definitely only attend pro America Schools. That is how “We the People” can protect all that many have given their lives for and those that will in the future.

Michelle Malkin highlights it all here.

But they support the troops…ya my ass they do!
