To Be a Democrat/Liberal

How can this be anything BUT unAmerican and definitely it is Unpatriotic.

Democrats support this kind of garbage in their silence.

She explored the popular genre of “Kill Bush” literature, talk radio rhetoric, and art on the Left devoted to fantasies about murdering President Bush and Republicans.
Michelle Malkin has the collection here. Just makes you wonder why they are in America as they do not appreciate that fact.

Why being American and a Democrat is wrong

Actually it is becoming a true Oxymoron to say I am a Democratic-American…Don’t you think?

Ann Coulter lays it out in this weeks column…

This year’s Democratic plan for the future is another inane sound bite designed to trick American voters into trusting them with national security.

To wit, they’re claiming there is no connection between the war on terror and the war in Iraq, and while they’re all for the war against terror — absolutely in favor of that war — they are adamantly opposed to the Iraq war. You know, the war where the U.S. military is killing thousands upon thousands of terrorists (described in the media as “Iraqi civilians,” even if they are from Jordan, like the now-dead leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi). That war.

Read it all here.

Got to love her and she is absolutely correct on this point.

Rep. Charlie Bass Gets IT!!!!!

I was glad to see this article from my Rep. on the Union Leader Opinion page;

On July 26, Walter Zhune was sworn in as a U.S. Citizen. This was a proud day for the 17-year-old Nashua North High School student who had long dreamed of becoming an American. When he left his native Ecuador two years ago to join his father in New Hampshire, he quickly learned that the process of becoming a citizen can be lengthy and complicated. I played a small role in helping him along, as my office helped prepare the necessary paperwork and navigate through the various bureaucratic hurdles.

Assisting an immigrant through the legal process of becoming an American is one of the most satisfying duties I have as a Congressman, and it reminds me of the great sacrifices millions of people from around the world have borne to join our nation of freedom. That’s why I feel so strongly that the struggles of those that have come to our country legally should not be dishonored by any sort of amnesty program that grants the same rights and privileges to those who flout our laws.

Illegal immigration is a problem that impacts us all, and reform does not have a simple, clear-cut answer. There are contrasting views on how to solve this problem, including amnesty plans, which I strongly oppose. Proposals that would create “guest-worker” programs place individuals who have broken the law ahead of those who are waiting to enter the country legally, as well as exclude legal immigrants who are already in the U.S. temporarily. This is fundamentally unfair to individuals like Walter who patiently waited their turn; granting amnesty to law breakers is in stark contrast to the founding principles of our country and a blow to those hard working immigrants who waited to come to this country in the legal manner.

I support plans to reform our immigration system by focusing on securing our borders, allowing the continued flow of legal immigrants and, notably, ending the practice of American companies employing low-paid illegal immigrants. I also support efforts to streamline and expedite our current visa process and to expand the educational visa program to encourage the world’s best and brightest to come utilize this country’s top-notch colleges and universities. We need to ensure that our country remains a place immigrants look to as a land of hope and opportunity.

Charlie Bass represents New Hampshire’s 2nd District in Congress.

I just hope he can EDUCATE Sen. Judd Gregg on this issue as he remains clueless and on the wrong side of this issue. At least the American side that is…..

Previous here and here.

Judges now supporting the Terrorist too…

This is just NUTS and most Americans know it. The good news is the Democrats will jump on htis bandwagon to bash Bush and the republicans will just say ” Look at the Democrats willing to protect a terrorists civil rights so they can attack America.”

U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit became the first judge to strike down the National Security Agency’s program, which she says violates the rights to free speech and privacy.

WHOSE Rights????  the Terrorist in Iran? The Hezbollah wannabe’s in Michigan?

The American Civil Liberties Union filed the lawsuit on behalf of journalists, scholars and lawyers who say the program has made it difficult for them to do their jobs.

Theirs Jobs? The Job to Promote and protect our country many have fought and Died for? Oh No their jobs are to Blame America and assist those that hate America in every possible way.

I predict the next civil war will be in America someday soon if the journalists, scholars and lawyers continue to tear down the fabric  that made America  great.

“United States intelligence officials have confirmed that the program has helped stop terrorist attacks and saved American lives. The program is carefully administered, and only targets international phone calls coming into or out of the United States where one of the parties on the call is a suspected Al Qaeda or affiliated terrorist. The whole point is to detect and prevent terrorist attacks before they can be carried out.

What part of this program interferes with journalists, scholars and lawyers makes it difficult for them to do their jobs unless their jobs is  “Terrorist Support”.
